this weekend I’m at home. I went to church today and the sermon really made me think about the gospel. Especially how we present it to others. It isn’t what I grew up with – where you can pray a prayer at 6, never live it, but you are in. What are the signs of faith. Are you trusting in Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins and the ressurection from the dead? Is Jesus your most important treasure? are you developing spiritual gifts? these questions are not about works: because if you have them, they are from God, not works….so the answer if you don’t have them isn’t to try harder. I’m learning more and more what it means to love the gospel.
